Worship With Us

Thank you for considering Mt.Zion UCC as your place of worship. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here. The information below should make things a little less intimidating during your first visit, but please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you have. We offer two worship services every Sunday – a traditional service at 8:00 am and a family-friendly service at 10:30 am.

What to Expect

We have a dedicated Welcome Team that is ready to greet you prior to both of our Sunday services and show you where to go. Bulletins are available upon entering so you can easily follow along during worship. You can view our most recent service here.

  • What should I wear?

    Members and guests typically feel comfortable wearing anything from casual attire to their Sunday best. Likewise, we want you to feel comfortable too – just come as you are!

  • Do you offer Nursery care?

    At this time, we do not offer nursery care during worship, however we do welcome infants and children and all their wiggles & voices in our worship! For your comfort, we also have a children’s corner in the back narthex where your child can relax and play and you can still participate in the worship experience. We have children’s books and activity bags for them to enjoy!  We also do have a nursery room with toys and a rocking chair where you can take your child and you can also watch the service on the TV in the nursery room.

    Additionally, after the children’s message during the 10:30AM service, children from 3 years old—6th grade are invited to participate in Sunday school in our classroom downstairs. They can choose to attend Sunday school or return to their seats to sit with their parents.

  • Do you have Sunday school I can attend?

    We currently have Sunday school for two different age groups.

    Children’s Sunday School meets during the 10:30 AM worship service, directly after the children’s message.

    We also have an adult Sunday School class at 9 AM in our Fellowship Hall. Currently they are studying the book of Genesis.

  • Where should I park?

    Mt. Zion UCC is located at 1054 Ridgewood Road, York, PA 17406. We have ample parking in the lot located on our property, including plenty of handicap spaces.

    From West York
    Take Route 30 East to Sherman St
    Turn left on Sherman St
    Turn right in approximately 0.2 miles onto Ridgewood Rd
    Mt. Zion UCC will be on the right

    From East York
    Take Route 30 West to N Hills Rd
    Turn right on N Hills Rd
    Turn left in approximately 0.3 miles onto Ridgewood Rd
    Mt. Zion UCC will be on the left
