Messy Church and Messy Mission will return in the fall in the fellowship hall & sanctuary. At our Messy Mission events we aim to reinforce the value in serving others by doing age appropriate mission projects that can be carried out in our Fellowship Hall - and also reproduced at home. At Messy Church we invite children into worship through the art of story telling and sensory, experiential, stations to reinforce that story. Dinner is also provided at Messy Church at no cost to our participants, making fellowship another key component of the program.
WOW (Worship Our Way) Kids is a program for the younger children of our congregation to participate in during the 10:30 worship service. After the children’s message, the kids go downstairs for a lesson and snack. There is no sign up process – simply bring your child and we’ll do the rest!
JWalkers - which is short for "Jesus Walkers" - is our youth group geared toward students in 3rd-6th grades. JWalkers meets once per month for a gathering that largely resembles the structure of our youth group, but with lessons that are age approrpiate for 3rd-6th graders. The goal of JWalkers is to establish relationships among the children of this age group so that they are not only excited for youth group when the time comes, but also so that they know what to expect and have some existing relationships from the very beginning. Please see the "upcoming" tab in this section for a full schedule of our JWalkers meetings for this year.
Our Youth Group meets regularly on Sunday nights from 6-8 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Youth group is for students in 7th-12th grade and is meant to give youth a space to come together as peers and friends to learn, grow, and to also unwind. We seek to make youth group a safe space for kids to come no matter who they are or what is going on in their lives. We also do regular outings as a group along with a lock-in once per year. To see more about what is coming up for our Youth Group please see the youth schedule at the "upcoming" tab in this section.
